POSTPARTUM SUPPORT

.

Postpartum Planning

The sacred postpartum window offers a unique opportunity for women to deeply heal their bodies and rejuvenate their health. With proper care, nourishment, and support, mommas can improve their short and long term health and vitality, emerging from the postpartum time more vibrant and energetic than pre-birth.

In our planning sessions, we discuss the essential elements of postpartum care and how to easily incorporate these universal practices in our daily routines to ensure we transition into motherhood knowledgeable, prepared, and resourced.

Nourishment Packages

Choose between one of our three packages or create your own. Each option includes fresh juices, teas, infusions, lactation treats, and home-cooked organic meals specific to a new mother’s needs.

Postpartum Group Class Series

This 7-week Class Series is open to any parent with a lap baby (newborn-5 months old). Our goal – first and foremost – is connection. To give each of you the opportunity to connect with others in the same place in life, to discuss trials and tribulations of new parenthood. Our second goal is to give you tools to take this beautiful, vulnerable time and make it better by providing better understanding of the postpartum support that surrounds you.

In-House Support

In-house care to support families’ unique needs after birth. We offer hands-on help and expertise to help ease the transition of a growing family.

Yoni Steaming

The ancient practice of Yoni steaming has long been used in cultures around the world to support women’s health and is especially essential in postpartum recovery. This practice uses gentle, nourishing techniques that utilize heat and organic herbs to cleanse, purify and heal the body.

The medicinal properties of the herbs coupled with the warmth of the steam has been shown to significantly increase healing bringing more lymph flow to the pelvic area. It also assists in cleansing the uterine walls while helping the uterus return to its normal size and position. Not only that but it helps to keep stitches clean, scar tissue soft and hemorrhoids at bay.

Closing of the Bones

Closing of the Bones is a traditional Mexican midwifery practice that was taught to Jess by teacher Rachelle Garcia Seliga at @innatetraditions. When we birth, our physical body and energetic field opens and expands far greater than any other experience in this life. This practice assists in returning both the energetic and physical body back to its pre-birth essence while honoring mama and her transition into motherhood. It also assists in closing the pelvis after birth and helps return the abdominals and organs to pre-pregnancy positioning.
